WCCM New Nordic Watercolor workshop at l’Abbaye de Bonnevaux
The purpose of the workshop is to deepen the ability to stay in the present moment during the meditation and during the painting sessions. The way to introduce the painting exercises is a liberating and playfull way of using the colors. It brings people closer to themselves as the meditation does.
 
Facilitators Tilde Louise Carlsen, a danish watercolor painter will introduce the painting and the bodywork will be led by Frederique from the French community. Tilde is an experienced meditator, artist and teacher in watercolor. She has learned from Swedish watercolor painters in the Nordic movement of New Nordic Watercolor painters.
 

Practical information

Duration
The workshop will take five days from Wedensday to Sunday, with possibility to prolong the stay, if you want to explore the area more. Everyone must stay all days.

Accommodation, food and transportation
We will sleep at B&Bs nearby Bonnevaux and have our luch, meditations and painting sessions at Bonnevaux. You have to organize your own transportation to Bonnevaux.

Watercolor workshop 550 Euro
Incl. Meals , accommodation meditation- and painting sessions.
Excl. Traveling

Please, bring equipment for watercolor painting. You will receive a list of needed materials when you have signed up to the workshop.

Agenda

Morning

Every day we will start with some bodywork before meditation and breakfast.
Then first painting session, coffee break and meditation

Midday

Lunch and after that a break, where you can paint again. In the afternoon one more painting instruction and another coffee break.

Evening

Meditation, dinner and free time.
Saturday a talk about the New Nordic Watercolor painters.
Silence will be kept until 4 p.m. except for questions on the painting exercises.

Tilde Louise Carlson

Tilde  is an autodidact artist but has learned a lot from watercolor professor Arne Isacsson, Anders Wallin and Lars Holm in Sweden and at Kirsten Dufour in Denmark and England.

Tildes great passion is the new Nordic watercolor that puts the watercolor in a whole new light. Worldwide, the watercolor is being recognized as an independent artistic medium. A lot of new things are happening in the watercolor painting, especially in the Nordic countries.

Tilde Louise Carlsen is a member of the Nordic Watercolor Company, Visual Forum in the Danish Journalist Federation and Funen’s Graphic Workshop in Odense.

Frédérique Saillard

Member of the French Community and part of the Bonnevaux Coordination Group, working especially at the programme, communication and fundraising committee.
